While our focus is always on serving our clients, brands and partners, being recognized by our industry peers for our efforts to set new standards for everyone we serve and everywhere we play is not something we take lightly. In fact, we know how difficult it is to impress communications, marketing and public relations insiders.
The Public Relations Society of America-Houston Chapter recognized CKP with the top two honors of the 2019 Excalibur Awards event, 2019 Agency of the Year and the coveted Grand Excalibur Award given to the top performing campaign of the year.
CKP earned the Grand Excalibur Award for our integrated communications campaign for Discovery Green, a 12-acre park in Downtown Houston celebrating its 10th anniversary. We were charged with driving higher attendance.
The results:
-
1,561 media placements representing 1,480,174,053 impressions and a PR value of $17,968,890
-
44,411,728 organic impressions with 379,576 engagements on social channels
-
7,890,236 highly-targeted paid impressions at total spend of $24,445.47
But the most notable outcome was a 101% year-over-year increase in park attendance.
