What is Choice Partners?
Choice Partners provides quality services, legal procurement and contract solutions for governmental entities, including school districts, private schools, charter schools, colleges, universities, municipalities, counties and nonprofits.
Admins and procurement professionals in the above entities typically have to follow a request-for-proposal (RFP) process to hire external contractors and services. Becoming a member of Choice Partners eliminates that need while ensuring compliance with local, regional and national codes.
Choice Partners uses a standard template as reviewed and updated by the Harris County Department of Education legal counsel to comply with the requirements as appropriate of the state procurement code specified in Texas Education Code and Texas Local Government Code, and, in the case of a job order contract, the Texas Government Code.
This innovative cooperative makes the procurement process easier for CKP clients who are also Choice Partner members. It creates efficiencies for both CKP and our partners, and offers peace of mind that all contracts are 2 CFR 200 (EDGAR) compliant.

Can I become a member of Choice Partners?
If you’re an administrator or procurement professional in a school, college, university, municipality, county, state agency or other governmental entity or nonprofit, you may join Choice Partners. Private schools and higher education organizations that operate as nonprofit organizations may also become members. There is no charge for members to use Choice Partners national cooperative contracts.
